Genius Hour Question:
For My TED Talk, I dedicated my Genius Hour Question to asking
"In what way can me make the best use of a spatula?"
Motivation:
I really believe that my original inspiration to answer this Genius Hour Question came from thinking in anticipation about the time I allotted to eating my lunch and the lovely chicken wrap I created for myself. I was thinking of how I grilled the chicken, hence by using a spatula, and I then started to reflect on the many uses someone could think of in regards to using a spatula. In later lab sessions, I came to realize that I also chose this topic because of other considerations on top of this initial thought!

Reflection:
When making my TED Talk, I thought it was fascination how little eight minutes felt when I was creating my presentation. I was so interested in inputing all of the relevant information, but it was difficult for me to actually express spatulas being used. I had originally anticipated my TED Talk would have a very brief introduction of the necessary information followed by a cooking demonstration. My plan was to make an omelet and express which spatula would be the best, what spatulas' could be used, and how to incorporate different styles of spatula into different types of cooking methods. If the TED Talk was able to be longer in length, I would have attempted to incorporate in a spatula lesson in the setting of a laboratory for the laboratory spatulas, and in a gym for the spatula related sports.Making this presentation and learning how to make a TED Talk was an amazing experience for me. Also a great learning experience for me was incorporating many of the skills I learned in our technology class into this presentation. This class has really allowed me to see a creative side I had not seen in myself, and in the conclusion of this course I am confident that I will incorporate many of the skills I have learned in this course to my future class placements I may have.
